All workshops are being held on Fridays at the Sheraton Inn in Lexington,
MA
All 3 CE workshops are held from 9:00am to 12:00pm
and all 6 CE workshops are held from 9:00am – 4:30pm (Lunch is not
provided).

Working with Adolescents

About the Workshop
The workshop will examine the search for self during adolescence, the evolution
of identity formation, and the ways in which researchers and professionals
deal with young people. Writings from psychology, literature and philosophy
will be explored and discussed.
About the Presenter
A sociologist and licensed clinical psychologist, Thomas J. Cottle is
Professor of Education at Boston University. He is the author of thirty books
and more than five hundred and sixty articles, essays and reviews. His
most recent books are A Sense of Self; Mind Fields: Adolescent Consciousness
in a Culture of Distraction; and When the Music Stopped: Discovering My Mother.

These events are sponsored by the Massachusetts Psychological
Association (MPA). MPA is approved by the American Psychological Association
to offer continuing education (CE) for psychologists. MPA maintains responsibility
for these programs. Please be advised that according to APA rules, all must
attend the event in its entirety to receive CE credits for that workshop; no
partial credit will be given, no exceptions. Cancellation and Refund Policy:
fee minus a $30 administrative charge will be refunded if cancelled five (5)
business days prior to the workshop, no refund if cancelled less than five
(5) business days prior to the workshop.
