MPA Senior Psychologist Group Meeting
What Would I Do if I Retired?
A Conversation about the Personal and Professional Ramifications of Retirement for Psychologists.
Sunday, April 23rd, 2017 from 1:00pm - 3:00pm
Newbridge on the Charles
5000 Great Meadow Road
Dedham, MA 02026
Registration is limited to 20 people - pre-registration is required!
This will be a conversation among psychologists about the process of 'retirement', from a personal and psychological point of view. This references the emotional and personal connection psychologists have to our work. We will discuss issues regarding the paths people have taken, or considering, including full retirement, cutting down hours, doing consultation or supervision, volunteering, mentoring, and others. We would like to explore this experience with those who are 'already there', those who are in the process, and those who are in the 'contemplation' phase.
MPA Representative - Jonathan Brush
Senior Psychologist Committee - Paul Lipsitt, Chair; Stan Rosenzweig and Evelyn Perlman
Coffee and light appetizers will be served.
