Dear MPA members,

Are you looking for:

  • Ways to increase your professional visibility?
  • A meaningful way to contribute to your community?
  • Opportunities for public speaking engagements?

If so, the Public Education Committee invites you to join the MPA Speakers’ Bureau.  In order to share psychological science with the community more directly, MPA is hosting a listing of members who have agreed, as experts in their respective fields, to be contacted by the public for speaking engagements - workshops, lectures, talks to community groups, etc.  This is an outstanding opportunity for newer and established psychologists alike to become more known as experts in their communities, build their referral networks, practice public speaking skills, increase the use of psychological science in public discourse, and contribute to the well-being of the general public.

What do you stand to gain?

  • Honoraria for your speaking engagements (if you choose to negotiate for this)
  • Professional exposure and networking
  • Community engagement
  • Good feeling from knowing that the science of psychology is being spread more broadly, and you are making it happen!

If you are interested, please complete the Speakers' Bureau Registration Form.

If you have questions, please contact Emily Mohr, the Massachusetts Public Education Coordinator at or 781-681-1389.

We hope to hear from you!
