Ethics Committee

The Massachusetts Psychological Association's Ethics Committee serves as a consultative service for MPA members in the matter related to the ethical conduct of psychologists. Its goal is to help psychologists think through problems from the APA Code of Ethics. We strive to help members meet the highest professional standards and to protect the public. Legal Consultation for Members Only

When in need it is reassuring and instructive to have rapid access to competent legal help. The MPA provides access to legal counsel who is very familiar with psychological/legal problems that might occur in the course of clinical practice. This attorney will respond to your request, by phone appointment made through the MPA office.

Dr. Eric Harris, psychologist and lawyer, is accessed through the MPA office. You will be asked to give a brief description of the question or problem and a choice of times when Dr. Harris may call you for a phone discussion, 781-263-0080.
