MPA Endorses Jessica Henderson Daniel, Ph.D., ABPP for APA President-Elect, Voting Starts Tomorrow

Dear MPA Members,

For those of you who are members of the American Psychological Association (APA), the Board of Directors of the Massachusetts Psychological Association (MPA) encourages you to vote in the election for President-Elect of APA.  After careful consideration of the candidates, their qualifications and their positions, the MPA Board of Directors is pleased to endorse Jessica Henderson Daniel, PhD. ABPP for APA President-Elect.

Many of you know Dr. Jessica Daniel personally, as she is a long-time psychologist in Massachusetts.  Jessica has a long and distinguished career as a mentor, policy advisor, advocate, teacher, researcher, and author, sharing her wisdom and integrity in the many broad areas of psychology.  She has served as member and Chair of the Massachusetts Board of Registration of Psychologists.  Jessica was awarded the MPA Career Contribution and Psychological Service Awards.  She is a member and fellow of MPA and has served in many governance roles with MPA and APA divisions and committees for over 30 years.  Because her achievements and qualifications are too numerous to recap here, please see Dr. Henderson Daniel's nomination statement on the APA website at Further candidacy information and endorsements on her candidacy website are at: We believe that Dr. Jessica Daniel will be a dynamic representative of all psychologists as President of APA.
