SEEKING: Federal Advocacy Coordinator for the
Massachusetts Psychological Association

The MPA Board of Directors is in search of our next Federal Advocacy Coordinator (FAC) to serve as the liaison between MPA, APA and our Massachusetts Congressional Delegation.

The FAC is an important and highly rewarding volunteer position serving to strengthen the involvement of MA psychologists by advocating for legislation that advances the profession and notifying MPA members of essential legislative issues occurring at the national level.  The FAC also travels with the MPA delegation to the annual Practice Leadership Conference in Washington, DC each year to coordinate the delivery of APA legislative priorities to Congress.

If you have an interest in legislative policy that promotes and improves the practice of psychology, you may be the individual we are looking for to serve in this critically important role!

A more complete FAC job description is attached here.  Please submit your letter of interest and CV to Margaret Lanca, Ph.D. at margaret_lanca@hms.harvard.edu by December 10, 2018.
