Call for Nominations - APA CPG Development Panel for Treatment of Chronic Musculoskeletal Pain

Recently, the American Psychological Association (APA) released a call for nominations for clinical practice guideline development panel – Treatment of chronic musculoskeletal pain in adults. The development panel will be composed of at least seven members appointed by the Advisory Steering Committee and the Board of Directors (at least three content experts in chronic musculoskeletal pain, one full-time generalist practitioner, one patient/consumer/community member/advocate, and one biostatistician or methodologist). The development panel will determine the specific scope and focus of the guideline for the treatment of chronic musculoskeletal pain.

Please review and forward the call for nominations to psychologists and other healthcare providers with expertise in the treatment of chronic pain to serve on this guideline development panel. The committee is currently accepting self-nominations until Friday, February 1, 2019. Please have applicants forward their current curriculum vitae and a letter stating their relevant qualifications and commitment to serving for at least two to three years (or until the guideline is complete) to the Clinical Practice Guidelines Mailbox: cpg@apa.org.
