The Massachusetts Psychological Association (MPA) offers its heartfelt condolences and condemnation of the recent tragic shootings in Texas and Ohio. We stand with the American Psychological Association (APA) against the surge of gun violence in this country and lend our support to the voices pleading for protection of innocent American lives through stricter gun laws and the implementation of comprehensive public health policy with dedicated research to better understand the causes and factors contributing to gun violence. To read the APA's statement, click here.  To access several APA resources to help understand and cope with the aftermath of these and other terrorist acts, click here.

Sincerely,
