Mission Statement

The Massachusetts Psychological Association is the professional association for psychologists in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. The purpose of the Massachusetts Psychological Association is to advance psychology as a science, as a profession, and as a means of promoting human welfare.

The following Strategic Goals were approved by the Board of Directors in 2016:

Strategic Goal #1:  Streamline governance and modernize operations.

Strategic Goal #2:  Increase and diversify revenue.

Strategic Goal #3:  Broaden the diversity of membership (cultural, ethnic, professional specialties, career stage).

Strategic Goal #4:  Promote member engagement and build professional community.
