This is a time of great change and great opportunity for psychology, but in a careful and strategic manner.  More than ever before we are required to exert increasing effort and resources to maximize our growth and expansion and minimize the disruption and decline of our profession.  We look increasingly to our “angels” and “defenders of the profession” to support our advocacy efforts.  Some of us have chosen to be these angels and professional defenders through joining committees and our Board of Directors.  Others may choose to help carry the load in other ways.

In an effort to enhance revenue to keep service levels high while keeping dues affordable, we have created a special voluntary program for colleagues who wish to become Sustaining Members of MPA.  Those choosing to support MPA at this higher level will qualify for a 50% discount on attendance at all MPA events (including all meetings and continuing education events) during the dues year and will be recognized publicly for their exceptional support on the MPA website and in future publications and events.

Members at any level can become Sustaining Members by making a voluntary payment of $100. We urge those who have profited well from being a psychologist and who can afford to do so to become Sustaining Members of MPA this year.  Your colleagues will value you even more so than they do already, and honor you for your help.
